Mr. Thompson has been practicing law since 2002. His focus is on criminal and civil matters. Mr. Thompson has successfully tried cases before juries in state district and superior courts as well as the federal district court.
In addition to his trial practice, Mr. Thompson works on post-conviction matters including direct appeals, motions for new trials, and federal habeas corpus petitions.
Mr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Arizona State University in 1994, where he graduated cum laude. Following graduation, Mr. Thompson worked in marketing where his clients included General Motors and Pepsi.
Mr. Thompson received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in 2002, where he graduated cum laude. While a Suffolk, Mr. Thompson was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. Mr. Thompson also received the Jurisprudence Award in Civil Procedure and the Legal Practice Skills Best Brief Award.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mr. Thompson enjoys surfing, stand-up paddleboarding and running in his spare time.
